"Hey everyone!  Sorry for not updating so often!  After my Europe Tour I returned to the normality of German School and German friends.  A month ago I had my last Rotex weekend with my district, where we bonded, laughed, signed year books, and by the end we were all crying that it was over.  Last weekend I was in the capital Berlin with some german friends. Time for the past 2 months has really flown by!  I can't believe how fast this year has gone.  Nevertheless, I'm really happy to almost be returning home.  A couple of months ago I didn't feel ready to end my exchange and the thought of going home made me incredibly sad.  Now in June, the 10th month of my exchange, I can honestly say, I'm ready to go home.  All the goals I had set myself for this year, I think I have accomplished.  I'm not that same girl that walked out of the airport 10 months ago.  I have grown and learned so much through this experience."

"In a way I feel more special than the rest of the teenagers in America that didn't do an exchange. The things I lived through this year, I would have never lived through in America. I am so happy I did this exchange. I met so many wonderful people from all over the world. I communicate well in German and I can read and write it too. I fly back on July 25th. Right now I feel like I have no more time left! I want to do so many more things in so little time. My weekends for the next 4 weeks are all booked. I can't even fathom the fact that it's been a year without my family and friends. Of course, I'm looking forward to going back to America, but at the same time it's overwhelming and sad saying bye to the life I had here. It's a bittersweet feeling. My exchange student friends are starting to leave and my german friends tell me that they're going to miss me when I'm gone. It's all coming to an end.  In the next month I'm planning on going to England for a couple of days and my host rotary club is taking me to a city called Lepzig for a whole weekend. I'm also going to Amsterdam this week with my first host family. I've been so busy!  I'm trying to take advantage of everything that I have left in Germany. Only one more month... "
