Meeting Recap 2/23
31 members were present and three guests of Peter Skalski, Bridget Murphy & Jessica Rutstein. Brooke Peppey had Thought of the Day and John Thomas gave the Dig 'n Grin.

Rich Lalley reported on the Rotary book donation of 50 books to Julie Ahern's classroom in the Andrew Cooke Magnet School in Waukegan which was a great success. Rotarians Rich Lalley, Wes Bauman, Mark Kotz, Tom Nash, Ned Meisner and Barb Tubekis delivered the books to the class as part of our Random Acts of Kindness Day Friday, Feburary 17. The students loved the books and played their musical instruments and Barb read aloud the book by B.J. Novak, The Book Without Pictures. Rotarians shared the good deeds they also did in the community on the 17th.  Dirk Tussing introduced the speaker, Douglas Stewart. He spoke of integrating people who differ from each other.
