One Ride at a Time: Life Lessons Learned on a Cross-Country Bicycle Ride

Rob Leachman is a retired school district superintendent and university instructor who recently moved from Missouri to Arlington Heights to be closer to his children and grandchildren (who actually live in Winnetka). Earlier this year, I published a book detailing a cross-country bicycle ride my wife and I completed in 2017 at the age of 60, and the enduring lessons we learned during that amazing journey.
