Since the devastating earthquake in Haiti, our club has joined thousands of other Rotary Clubs in financing the deployment of ShelterBoxes. Learn more from this video.
Our Club is continually raising funds to support ShelterBox delpoy urgently needed ShelterBoxes to Haiti, Chile and other areas in need of disaster relief. Each box provides temporary housing for ten people for up to six months, for a deployed cost of $1,000. Our club has already raised money for five boxes, and we're well on our way toward more. District 6440 will be adding $1,000 to our contribution, adding another box.
