SPEAKER- John Thomas introduced our speaker, Bill Hayes. After 25 years in business data research, Bill has recently founded Clear Path Partners as a vehicle to expand the use of renewable electricity. He is also actively involved with the Citizens Climate Lobby that promotes federal policy to address climate change.   His well organized presentation started with a brief discussion of climate change and the general scientific agreement that reducing carbon-based emissions is critical.   His second area was the need to put a price on carbon emissions so the market can be  an important force, in the western world, for reduction.   Lastly, he discussed sources of electricity that do not depend on coal or oil generation.

His talk took to 1:30 so unfortunately there was no time for Q&A  The meeting closed  at 1:31 after the lottery drawing and 4-Way pledge recitation.
