Co-President Moha chaired the meeting with 17 Rotarians attending.

Guest: Debora Morris, Co-President of the Wilmette Club.

Announcements: Moha encourages us to volunteer to staff the Rotary tent at the September 14 Winnetka Farmer’s market.

Dig N Grin: John Zeddies entertained us as the corporate member representative of the Chamber.

Happy Bucks:

Debra has a new grandchild.
ArLynn is happy for anyone who owns dogs, and she shared the selfless story of a dog from history.
Wes recounted the story of his driveway face-plant last Thusrsday, which inspired him to compare politics to the Rotary 4 way test.

Speaker: Moha defined committee guidelines for this year’s Winnetka-Northfield Rotary Board committees.

Trivia Night - Start brushing up on your trivia skills. One of our most fun fundraisers is Trivia Night. It will take place on Wednesday, September 18 from 5:30pm-9:00pm at the Sheridan Shores Yacht Club in Gillson Park. Pizza, salad, dessert and beverages will be available. Invite your neighbors, friends and associates to join in the fun. Organize a team of 4! Cost: $50 per person. Doors open 5:30 pm; dinner at 6:00 pm; Trivia contest starts at 7:00 pm. Proceeds support our local, international, and End Polio Now projects.

Purchase Raffle Tickets one for $10, five for $30 or ten for $50. Raffle winners will be drawn during the Trivia contest, winners need not be present. Purchase Tickets HERE

Beach Sweep - The Rotary Club of Wilmette has partnered with Go Green Wilmette for our annual Beach Sweep on September 21. We have openings for volunteers to sort, and help in collecting debris from the beaches and park area of Gillson Park. Sign up to volunteer at BEACH .
