Bridget L. Dotson has fourteen years of experience as a professional educator.  She is the District Coordinator of Social Work for Waukegan Public School District #60.  Bridget’s role includes the administrative responsibilities for the Social Work Department of nearly forty School Social Workers.  The mission to enhance students’ social emotional well-being and improve academic performance.  Bridget’s passion is to advocate for equitable access and opportunity for all students, families and staff.

Bridget served nine years as a School Social Worker serving both Middle and High School.  Her career began as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor working with diverse populations ranging from adolescents to adults in multiple treatment modalities.  Bridget’s skills to advocate, speak up and out for stakeholders have garnered praise and requests to “speak” on a variety of issues culminating in the role of District #60’s Title IX, Complaint Manager.  Bridget describes herself as a professional student having earned two graduate degrees; M.Ed., MSW and several professional licenses, certifications and endorsements; LCSW, CADC, DSEP (IL and WI).
