Barb shared a few updates for service projects:
- Our next date to pack lunches for Connections for the Homeless is Tuesday, September 2 at 6pm at St. Joseph's Church at Lake and Ridge in Wilmette. Sign up here – it’s mostly booked but we might be able to use a few more.
- October 9 will be our Glencoe Community Garden service project – we will be helping them harvest in lieu of our regular weekly lunch meeting.
- We are collectingmen’s clothing for Hilda’s Place – this Saturday to next Saturday, donations can be dropped on Patti Van Cleave’s front porch.
