Bill shared two quotes: From Woodrow Wilson on friendship, and one from Abraham Lincoln, paraphrased as: “It isn’t the years in your life that count, but the life in your years”.

Thomas “introduced” himself as our new president and shared that Debra has resigned her role as President.

Rich announced that our club will be hosting a library coat distribution event at the Budlong Woods library on Nov 14. We need donations to the club’s foundation to support the cost of the coats. We will also need volunteers to distribute. This year, our club will also be donating coats to Holy Family Ministries school in Lawndale, as before, and in Highwood.
