President Debra called the meeting to order at 12:15. 

Announcements:

  • Debra has compiled the first survey. She shared results. 

  • Robert offered his two tickets for the cub game tonight, for $80.
  • Robert talked about the Walk for Polio on Oct 24. Save the date for more info.
  • Debra reminded us about the Rotary Avenues of Service.
  • Moha shared that Rives just turned 70. We sang to him!
  • Bob reported that he was passing a card for Heidi. Her surgery went very well, she is doing well according to Barb.
  • Barb ran into Mike Ambrose – he says hi to all.
  • Glencoe Community Garden project on Sept 17. Get there early to eat so we can pick veggies!
  • Thomas reported for Liz that we are looking for volunteers for Sept 16 at the farmers market.
